Her recent visit to Jamaica achieved a short but informative visit to the Oracabessa High School in St Mary. A questionnaire indicated that young Jamaican students have the same or
similar concerns of young people in the U.K, one of the respondent’s wrote “ without continuing my education, this could lead to smoking, gangs and robbing”. These wonderful blessed and talented young people deserve a more positive outlook for their future.
Nehanda has a B.A in Sociology and Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance. She is the proud mother of 3 young adults, two have graduated from University.Nehanda as an avid passion for working with young people, supporting them to develop their skillsand abilities to their highest. She is particularly keen continue the work she has initated and developed in the U.K working with young teenage parents, empowering them to return to learning.Nehanda will be using her expertise to link British youth with the young people we assist here in Jamaica.
